In a 1997 Ensign article, Elder Richard D. Allred said "Patriarchal blessings are … similar to a road map that indicates the paths that may be traveled and destinations that may be reached if we stay within those paths." Today, Brian and I were blessed to go with our boys to receive their patriarchal blessings. What an amazing gift for our children to receive from their Heavenly Father. I am humbled and grateful to be able to receive direct revelation from a loving Heavenly Father and grateful that my children are doing the things that keeps them worthy to receive those blessings.
