Hayden's 8th Grade Graduation!!
Hayden had his 8th grade graduation commencement today and is now ready to start high school. It is pretty exciting to have 2 kids in high school! We are very proud of Hayden and all his accomplishments. He is a great example to Bryson and to Hunter. We love him very much!
Congrats Hayden - Class of 2010!
Look Out World - Hunter is DRIVING!!!
You read that correctly - Hunter got his license this week and is now officially legal to drive!
It is very surreal to have a child that is old enough to drive but really cool at the same time. I know have my own personal Sonic driver which is very awesome. We are very proud of him and just so you know - watching him drive away the first time without Brian or I ...
A whole new world of worry!
Traditions

One of the big traditions in our family is to have the new additions to the family stand on my dad's hand. Over Mother's Day, Jared, Kim, Colter and Lily went up to mom and dad's house and it was Lily's turn to give it a try. She is almost 5 months old and looks like a pro. Dad/Grampy has gotten really good at this trick and it is fun to see all of the grand kids marking this milestone.

I believe that I was the first to try this trick.
Dad looks a little more apprehensive with me on his hand than with Lily. I guess 5 kids and 11 grand kids makes you a pro.

Happy Mother's Day!!
My mom has been one of my best friends for as long as I can remember. She is kind and thoughtful as well as very talented. She has such a fun side to her and has always been so fun to be around. I love her very much and I am glad that she is my mom!

(I love Chloe's face as she is watching Grammy dance around at the temple)

Growing up - all I ever wanted to be was a mom. When each one of my boys were born, they made that dream come true and I love them very much. They are so much fun to hang out with and I am very proud of the young men that they are.

Our Annual April Trip to DISNEYLAND!!
We took one our Annual April Disneyland trip last week and had so much fun! Since Allyson was still so sick and they couldn't join us, we took Chloe with us. Additionally, we took Hunter's friend Tyler Thomas too. Our trip started on Wednesday, April 28th. We went to the parks for several day and they were not busy at all so that was awesome.

Chloe was tall enough to ride Indiana Jones so we rode that as many times as we possibily could. Bryson started a new thing of screaming like he was super-scared but he would scream at places in the ride that were not scary. Needless to say, we got some really weird looks. But who cares - we thought it was so fun!

Chloe wasn't tall enough to ride California Screamin'. She was so bummed that she couldn't ride it. She had me measure her every day to see if since she had eaten all her dinner was she NOW tall enough to ride. We have a daily log of this same look on her face when she wasn't tall enough. Maybe next time! But she was a great sport when the boys wanted to ride. They rode this ride over and over too.

On Wednesday, we went to Woody and Jessie's Round-Up for awesome bar-b-que. On Friday morning, we went to Breakfast with Minnie. We saw loads of characters and got lots of autographs. On Saturday, Brian took Hunter, Tyler, Hayden and Bryson to Knott's Berry Farm and Chloe and I had a Princess Day complete with a princess make-over and a ride to the Royal Ball.
After her Royal Photo Shoot, we went to Ariel's Grotto for lunch. We met four more princesses including Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Belle.

On Sunday, no one wanted to leave so we made arrangements to stay one more night. We moved to the Grand Californian and had a great time swimming and enjoying the accessibility to California Adventure.
Even with the extra day, we didn't want to leave on Monday so we left on the latest flight, enjoyed as many rides as we could squeeze in and got home around midnight. Even with the late arrival, we still all wished to be back in Disneyland and can not wait to go back in September.

We Are The May Crew!!

I have decided to officially decided to begin a blog for my family. I think it's a great way to keep my family and friends informed on what is going on in our lives. Our boys are growing up so fast. Hunter just turned 16 and will be driving soon. Hayden just turned 14 and has discovered the world of girls - Yes, I am cringing! Bryson turned 12 in December and is loving being in Young Mens with his older brothers and finally a tween. They keep us very busy but we love them all and enjoy spending time together as a family.
