I actually won one of the gift certificates from Green Jello with Carrots. There is so much stuff I am not sure where to start. But I am sure that I will figure it out. If you haven't been to the site and you have a calling in Primary or YW, you should really take a peek! You will be glad you did!
Spring Break At Our House
Now that is the life!
Disneyland - February 2011
We had been planning, waiting, and anticipating our trip to Disneyland for some time and couldn't wait to go - and our trip couldn't have been better. We had such a great time! Kyle and Allyson's family, Grammy and Grampy and us hopped a plane to Anaheim on Thursday morning and played every minute until we dragged ourselves to the airport late Monday afternoon - none of us still wanting to go home. We rode rides, shopped, ate at character meals including Minnie's breakfast and Ariel's Grotto. We dragged a 6-month old (who was awesome by the way), a 5-year old, 3 teenage boys, 2 sets of parents and one set of grandparents back and forth between the two parks. But we all were so happy to have been able to create memories and participate in all the Disney magic together. We made shirts for almost every day but the weather was cold so most days no one could see them so the kids showed me their cute shirts every chance they could.
As we were leaving, the boys said "So when are we going again..." - I took that as a sure sign that they had a great time!

Peyton and the Boys
Since Peyton was born and Allyson returned to work, the boys have watched Peyton when Allyson is working. In the beginning, Brian was still at home and I remember the first week that they watched her, all 4 of them were exhausted. It had been a while since we had a baby in the house.
Now, they are able to recognize her needs and even her various cries even without dad. Several times, I have opened the garage when I return home from work to be greeted by one of them with their finger up to their lips in the "sh..." sign to ensure that I don't slam the door or start calling for them. Not to long ago, I was holding her and Peyton was a little fussy. Hunter walked up and said "Mom, that is her 'poopy' cry - she needs her diaper changed." With that, he took, changed her, and brought her back to me - happy as can be. Peyton seems to love them too. Here are 2 pictures of Hunter singing to her and her just watching him and soaking it in. I love seeing them with her and looking out for her. It brings a smile to my face every time.
