Since Peyton was born and Allyson returned to work, the boys have watched Peyton when Allyson is working. In the beginning, Brian was still at home and I remember the first week that they watched her, all 4 of them were exhausted. It had been a while since we had a baby in the house.
Now, they are able to recognize her needs and even her various cries even without dad. Several times, I have opened the garage when I return home from work to be greeted by one of them with their finger up to their lips in the "sh..." sign to ensure that I don't slam the door or start calling for them. Not to long ago, I was holding her and Peyton was a little fussy. Hunter walked up and said "Mom, that is her 'poopy' cry - she needs her diaper changed." With that, he took, changed her, and brought her back to me - happy as can be. Peyton seems to love them too. Here are 2 pictures of Hunter singing to her and her just watching him and soaking it in. I love seeing them with her and looking out for her. It brings a smile to my face every time.
