Only days after returning home, we were celebrating Hunter's 21st birthday. How is it possible that our little boy is 21? What a fun night celebrating at Outback. The server made him a cute hat and we all sang. He was a great sport. We love you Hunter and hope you have a fantastic birthday!
Arizona May Family Reunion - January 2015
For the first time in about 2 years or so, we were able to get all the "Arizona" Mays together for a night of fun and food. Grama and Grampa May were here for Hunter's homecoming so we tood full advantage of the time.
Krazy Air is a bunch of trampolines and we had unlimited access to those trampolines. We played basketball, dodge ball, tag, relay races and just plain jumping. It was so much fun for everyone including adults and kiddos.
He's Home, He's Home, He's FINALLY Home!
Elder Hunter May returned home with honor after completing his 2-year mission in the New York Utica Mission.
We anxiously waited 730 days for this moment and it was simply amazing. We flew Hayden and Bryson as a surprise to meet up with Elder May during his layover in Chicago. They were able to have lunch together and fly home.
Words do not describe the feeling of having them walk back into your arms!
"Hold on to me as we go;
As we roll down this unfamiliar road.
And although this wave is stringing us along;
Just know you're not alone
'cause I'm going to make this place your
HOME"
Elder May's Last SIx-Months and The Best 2 Years Video
Even I will say that it is hard to believe that the end is here. Elder May is about to come home from his 2-year mission serving in the New York Utica Mission. He told me without a doubt this was the best decision he made and he is so happy to have served the Lord with all his heart and might. We couldn't be more proud of him.
Here is the link to his mission video:
Elder May Visits The Palmyra Temple
Elder May looked forward to this trip to the Palmyra temple and the Sacred Grove almost his entire mission. He was looking forward to being in the Sacred Grove where Joseph Smith had received the Golden Plates and saw God, the Father and Jesus Christs. Elder May wanted to feel the Spirit and ask the Lord if He was pleased with the work the he had done on his mission.
I asked him after the trip if all those things were accomplished and with tears in his eyes, he could only nod. What a beautiful experience for all the Elders and Sisters of the NYUM mission returning home to have.
"Be not weary in well doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great." (D&C 64:33)
